I got to Vermont and came off the Trail for a week of our annual summer vacation with my family … I couldn’t miss that. On Thursday, Dad and Mom dropped me where I came off, after a relaxing day in Bennington, Vermont. I added a few pounds, but will drop them quickly with my limited hiking diet. So now is the final push through the Green and White Mountains and on into Maine. I only have about 550 miles to go. Thanks for all your support !!!

Late May 08 … These past few weeks have been awesome. I went on a canoe trip that went wonderfully and horrible at the same time. Between canoing at night and constantly thinking we hear rapids and looking at the banks and seeing tons of eyes to getting sucked under a log soaking everything to class 3 rapids and pushing the canoe over a mile it was grand. Since then I have made it to the half way point. I had my biggest day yet as well doing 30 miles in under 10 hours. I am regretting that decision as I type right now. All the same its as beautiful as it flat here in PA, and look forward to more big days. Please tell your friends and family to donate and help me out. Thanks and keep posting!
